# Keyed CSV diff checklist

- Confirm the key column is present and unique in both snapshots.
- Compare by ID, not by physical row number.
- Classify changed, added, removed, and unchanged rows.
- Keep the old and new snapshots unchanged.
- Stop on duplicate or missing IDs; do not guess a match.
