Manual overtime cue guide
Separate planned end, actual end and overrun seconds. The facilitator chooses continue, pause or next stage; the timer never advances automatically.
The synthetic fixture V07-manual-overtime plans 600 seconds and observes 630 seconds. Intro has zero overrun; demo ends at 07:30 instead of 07:00, and the final overrun is 30 seconds.
| Stage | Planned end | Actual end | Overrun |
|---|---|---|---|
| Intro | 01:30 | 01:30 | 00:00 |
| Demo | 07:00 | 07:30 | 00:30 |
| Close | 10:00 | 10:30 | 00:30 |
After the planned end, the facilitator reads the overrun and decides. Continue keeps the current stage, pause confirms with the room, and next stage moves only after an explicit choice.
overrun = actual_end - planned_end
0 seconds: valid
30 seconds: manual choice
negative: reject; do not guessA timer or stage does not advance automatically. This is a synthetic handoff, not live cross-window synchronization.
Zero overrun is valid. A negative overrun or an actual end before the actual start is rejected rather than treated as success.
This is a printable handoff using fictional times. It accepts no input, saves nothing, uploads nothing and makes no external transmission; it does not promise a real event outcome.
